When we went to the beach, I turned to my brother and said "you know when you're sitting at your computer and you see those screen savers of the beach?" He said "Yeah." I said "Well...you're standing in it!"

A couple hours later, we got in our golf cart and followed our friends from the Dominican Starfish Foundation, Louise & Jack, to a restaurant at the resort. As we walked down the pathway to the restaurant, we snapped this photo. We couldn't believe the view! We're like "I think we just died and went to heaven!"

I've never seen beds on a beach before...but they were AWESOME!

I've never seen hot tubs on the beach either.

Surprisingly, the water was cool, not hot. It was very refreshing!

There's even a double-decker beach bed!

Going to and from the beach with all our beach gear was super easy considering that we had our own golf cart! This was a game changer! It made the beach SOOO much more fun!

The crepe shop is about 20 steps from the bed we were relaxing at. Right next to the crepe shop is a small restaurant with burgers and such.

...but the crepes is where it's at!

Yum!!

We became good friends with Fausto, the expert crepe maker. It's so weird to get crepes and food for free! The trip sounds expensive at first but when you consider that there are no costs once you get there, it's a great bargain.

We snorkled and did all kinds of fun stuff on the beach. This is a video of the boys boogie boarding!

While snorkling, we found a really cool sea creature. We caught him in a cup and shot this video.

There were hammocks on the beach.

There were recliners too...which were perfect for those times when you and Mickey want to just kick back!

There were swings...

But the beds were the bomb diggity!

Everything was clean and pristine!

Some beds were so huge that we could fit the whole family!

My son Andan loved it!

My son Carson was letting off some steam too!

They even have wifi at the beach! I couldn't quite get away from my work...but I did it in the most enjoyable way possible!

That's my daughter Brennah. Do you see the guy with the white pants walking toward us? He would come by from time to time and bring us specialty drinks for free!

The water was crystal clear!

One day, we went to a nearby beach in Sosua.

We had a great time.

These pina coladas were our favorite. They blend the core of the pineapple to make them and serve them with a fork. This is the best thing you will ever taste!

And, for your shopping needs...there's even a Wall-Mart on the beach! :)

The resort is huge. There are several beaches. Those who go with us get access to all VIP beaches, restaurants, and services.
