Naturally Sweet Oatmeal

This gluten-free and naturally sweetened oatmeal gets the day off to a perfect start. Blogger Susan says that amounts don’t need to be exact, but suggests chopping the prunes first to create a sweeter tasting oatmeal.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup | oats |
2 tablespoons | ground flaxseeds |
1 tablespoon | ground chia seeds |
1/2 teaspoon | cinnamon |
pinch | salt (optional) |
3/4 cup | water |
6 | dried pitted prunes |
1/2 cup | warmed milk (optional) |
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Add water and prunes. Microwave on high for 1½ minutes. Stir and add warmed milk, if desired.
