So easy and such a nice difference the "glaze" makes. This is no ordinary fruit salad. The hint of vanilla had my guests asking for the recipe. I used in season fruits so it was economical.

Ingredients:
1 (20-ounce) can | unsweetened pineapple chunks |
1 (3-ounce) package | cook-and-serve non-instant vanilla pudding |
1 1/4 cups | orange juice |
1/2 | small cantaloupe, cubed |
1 3/4 cups | cubed honeydew |
1 cup | fresh strawberries, halved |
1 cup | fresh blueberries |
2 cups | seedless grapes |
2 | medium firm bananas, sliced |
Directions:
Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup juice; set pineapple aside. (Discard remaining juice or save for another use.) In a large saucepan, combine the pudding mix, pineapple juice and orange juice. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from the heat; cool.
In a large bowl, combine the pineapple, melons, berries, grapes and bananas. Drizzle with pudding mixture. Refrigerate until serving. Yield: 12 servings.
