Parmesan Rice
This is an easy - and healthy - way to replace those boxed rice mixes you get at the grocery store, you know, the ones with all the preservatives and junk. And this tastes so much better.

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons | butter |
3 | cloves garlic, minced |
1 cup | uncooked white rice |
1 cup | water |
1 cup | whole milk |
1 teaspoon | sea salt |
1/3 cup | grated Parmesan cheese |
Directions:
In a lidded saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic and saute until lightly browned. Add rice and stir. Add water, milk and sea salt then bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Cook with the lid on for 20 minutes or until rice is done, stirring occasionally.
Stir in parmesan cheese. Cover, turn off heat and let rest for 5 minutes
