Grilled Scallions
These scallions not only create an impressively colorful platter, but they also have a delightfully smoky flavor that will leave you wishing that you thought of grilling scallions sooner.

Ingredients:
2 large bunches | scallion |
olive oil to brush on scalions | |
salt and pepper to tast |
Directions:
Prepare an outdoor grill to medium high heat. Brush the scallions with olive oil. Lay the scallions on the grill until you see distinct grill marks, about 2 minutes. Turn the scallions over and cook about 1 minute more. Transfer to 2 plates and serve warm. salt and pepper to taste.
