A great option when a homemade version of Good Italian Dressing mix is desired.
2 tablespoons oregano |
1 tablespoon onion powder |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 tablespoon dehydrated carrot |
1 tablespoon dehydrated bell pepper |
1 tablespoon parsley |
1 teaspoon basil |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon lemon pepper |
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
Mix all ingredients in a 1/2 pint Mason Jar and label.
Two Tablespoons is equivilant to one packet Good Seasons Italian Mix.
For Dressing: Mix 2 tablespoons of seasoning with 1/2 cup Vinegar of choice, 2/3 cup of Olive oil or oil of choice, and 2 tablespoons of water. Mix well.
Note: For Marinated Cucumbers and onions add 2 tablespoons mix, 1/2 cup Cider Vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil, mix well and marinate for a couple of hours.
Garlic Bread - spread bread of choice with butter and sprinkle with mix. Or mix 2 tablespoons of mix with one stick (1/2 cup) of softened butter and spread on desired bread. Bake or toast in toaster oven as desired.
Chicken Stew - Add 2 tablespoons of mix into your stew recipe.
