4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 pound) |
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 envelope Knorr parma rosa pasta sauce mix |
1¼ cup milk |
1 tablespoon butter |
4 slices tomatoes |
4 slices mozzarella cheese |
Sprinkle chicken with Italian seasoning. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown, turning occasionally, about 5 minutes. Place chicken in an 11 x 7 inch glass baking dish.
In same skillet, prepare pasta sauce according to package directions with milk and butter. Pour half of sauce over chicken top with tomatoes, mozzarella, and remaining suace.
Cover and bake in a 375° oven for 10 minutes or until chicken is tender and cheese melts.
