We finished development of the Cook'n Mobile Apps quite a while ago and they are totally SWEET (Click here to see a video demo of the Cook'n Mobile Apps). However, we couldn't release them until we completed development of the Cook'n Cloud.
Creation of the Cook'n Cloud took MUCH longer than we expected and we ran into a few hiccups along the way. We were tempted to go live with it so we could get the apps out there and into your hands...but I made an executive decision to wait until the Cook'n Cloud service was working perfectly. That was a costly decision and it has taken time. But, I believe it was the right one.
The good news is that the Cook'n Cloud service is done now and humming along beautifully! We are taking the final steps of integrating the Cook'n Cloud service calls into the Cook'n Desktop App AND the Cook'n Mobile Apps. This is the easy part and it's going along very smoothly.
We hope to go live with the Cook'n Cloud service in the Cook'n Desktop app in a couple weeks. When this happens, your Cook'n software will update itself automatically and present you with the ability to create a new Cook'n Cloud account. Shortly after that, we will release Cook'n for Android first followed by Cook'n for iPhone next. Finally, we will release Cook'n for iPad. These apps will be available in the iTunes App Store and the Android Marketplace.
