Frosty Mugs
For that thrilling chill of condensation on your lips, chill your mugs thirty minutes to showtime. First, rinse the glasses in cold water. Then, without drying them, dip the glasses in granulated sugar (sweet, fruity drinks) or salt (savory, vegetable drinks). Next place them in the freezer to condense. Remove from freezer when beverage is ready to pour and serve.
You can skip the dipping part and simply freeze the glasses, or opt out on the freezing. For more tang, dip the glass into lemon juice before dunking in the sugar or salt. You could also dip the glassware into finely chopped nuts or coconut for tropical beverages.
