Trunk-Or-Treat Poll

Most of our regular Cook'n Readers know how much I love a good treat, so it would seem natural that Halloween would be one of my favorite holidays! If only it was socially acceptable for me to carry my own candy bag while taking my kids around:)

This year the holiday has sure snuck up quick, and that means time to dress up those little rug rats and take them out to claim their loot.

The last few years in our neighborhood we have opted for Trunk-or-Treat rather than sending the kids around unsupervised. All the neighbors meet in a local parking lot, decorate our car trunks and the kids go trick-or-treating to each trunk.

I love this idea of a more controlled environment. So much more safe! But what do you think? Have we lost some of the fun of the old door-to-door Halloween or do you think it's a great idea too?
