When preparing the bacon for the burgers, keep in mind that you will use bacon in today's Grilled Potatoes. Cook ½ of a package of bacon and split the bacon bits to use some on the potatoes. An easy way to cook bacon bits is to use your kitchen shears and cut the bacon into about 1/2" pieces. Don't pull the bacon apart, just cut it shortways and place the strips in the skillet. When they cook, you can move them around with the spatula to separate the pieces.
Save the other half package of uncooked bacon to use for Meal 5, Carbonara and Spaghetti Squash.
When making the Grilled Potatoes, use the reserved bacon from the Burgers in today's meal.
When cutting up the bell peppers for the Taco Salad, cut one additional pepper into 1 1/2" pieces and save. These will be used for Meal 4, Greek Kabobs.
Remember that you have already cut up your bell peppers when preparation was done for for Meal 3.
You used half of a package of bacon for Meal 2. Pull out the remaining half to use in the Carbonara.
