If you don't want to make both Lo Mein and Fried Rice, just make a double batch of one or the other. Both will work reasonably well with the other's respective meal. (The rice absorbs the teriyaki sauce better than noodles, but doesn't mean that it wouldn't be delicious.)
There are a lot of vegetables and starches in this week's meals, so having side salads and/or bread is not neccesary for a balanced meal. —Chef Mike
If you don't want to make your own broth from scratch, just use store-bought. Fresh is usually cheaper per ounce but takes more time to prepare.
These desserts (Blueberry Cobbler & Caramel Bread Pudding) go well with the starting to warm weather. They have some summer flavor with berries, but still have the comfort factor to keep things warm. —Chef Mike
Prepare all your vegetables (if you use fresh) for the shepards pie and the meatloaf tonight. They're both comfort dishes so your choice of vegetables (either the recommended ones or your own favorites) will work for both dishes. —Chef Mike
