Agave Marshmallows
Recipe by Global Goods
Makes 1 pan
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Volcanic Agave Nectar
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1 teaspoon Mexican Vanilla
- 6 tablespoons cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin in water and heat for 30 seconds in microwave. Pour gelatin and water mixture with Agave Nectar into mixer. Add salt. Beat for 10-15 minutes until thick. Put flour on cookie sheet, pour marshmallows on cookie sheet. Let it set and cut into squares.
To make Rice Krispy Treats, melt a stick of butter in a pot. Add your agave marshmallows into the butter and heat until melted. Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies to the mixture and stir. Place the treats in a pan and let them cool. Cut and serve.
