Homemade Chili Seasoning Mix
I like to make my own seasoning mixes. This Chili Seasoning is one that I use all the time, in red or white chili. Use the freshest spices for the best flavor. It doesn't have a lot of heat, so if I want more, add a minced jalapeno pepper, or increase the cayenne pepper.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup | chili powder |
1/4 cup | ground cumin |
1/4 cup | salt |
2 tablespoons | onion powder |
1 tablespoon | ground cayenne pepper |
1 tablespoon | garlic salt |
1 tablespoon | ground black pepper |
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together.
Use 2 tablespoons of this homemade chili seasoning to make your chili.
Store in an air tight container in a cool dark place.
This recipe makes 12 pots of chili.
