Red + Green Tomato Basil Mozzarella Crisps
Looking for a festive appetizer to bring to a party or serve at an event of your own? These mozzarella crisps are a fresh and easy finger food for the holiday season. They only require a few ingredients and a little time, but look beautiful and festive, being red and green! This recipe was first shared in a reel on Pinterest. It used to be just photos on Pinterest, but now you can see step by step instructions in a reel format, which makes putting together recipes like this so simple! You can use the link below to watch the reel for yourself!

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

Start by brushing olive oil on both sides of the bread.

Now add a layer of mozzarella cheese, place sliced tomatoes, and top with more cheese!

Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes. Just make sure you watch them so they don’t burn, as oven temps vary. Pull them out of the oven and it’s time to add the secret ingredient: agave nectar. Just drizzle a bit across the top of each slice.

Place chopped basil and sprinkle with red paper flakes to give it a little heat if you like!
