3 mediums potatoes peeled and chopped
3 teaspoons butter buds
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons skim milk, more if desired
Place chopped potatoes in a 1 1/2 qt saucepan with enough COLD water to cover. Bring to boil. Boil uncovered for about 30 minutes or until potatoes are fork tender. Drain water and transfer to a bowl. Add butter buds, pepper and milk. Mix with electric mixer at med-low speed until nice and fluffy. No need to add salt because the butter buds have enough.
3 servings. Each serving has 98 calories and no fat.
(Traditional mashed potatoes in the same quantity have 198 calories and 12 grams of fat.)
