Coupon Feedback
I love the section of the newsletter that is devoted to "Smart Ideas". There is one in the last issue about placing your coupons in an envelope and writing your grocery list on it. I do that with an old envelope but, take it a step further. I put a star by the item I have a coupon for and the amount of the coupon. Coupons are great but, I find that frequently after I purchase the item, it would have been cheaper to buy the store brand even with the coupon. Having the amount written on my list lets me know immediately if I will save or not.
Also, on the great recipes that are downloadable each week, it would be great if the cookbook they were from was listed. That way I wouldn't be copying recipes I already have in Cook'n. I download and save those I like but frequently see that I already have a copy of them in my recipes.
And is there a way to keep the new recipes found from popping up as soon as I open Cook'n? It is irritating to start something only to have that pop up until every recipe is downloaded. Is there a way to make it stop? To tell it later and have it wait until I am ready to download?
Thank you,
C. Kilmer
Hello C.
Thank you for the valuable feedback! When you download the .DVO recipe files that you get from each issue of the newsletter, save them into some place other than the Cook'n\Download folder. This will keep them from popping up automatically and interupting you. Then, when you're ready to import them, just click File|Import...OR, simply copy the files into the Cook'n\Download folder when you're ready to import them.
I hope this helps!
Dan
