Orange Sherbet Salad

2 3-ounce packages orange jello
1 1/2 cups water boiling
1 cup sour cream
1 pint orange sherbet
1 11-ounce can mandarin orange segments drained
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add sour cream and sherbet. Beat with mixer at low speed or with hand beater until sherbet is melted and mixture is smooth. Chill until slightly thick but not set; add oranges. Pour into a 1 1/2 -quart mold or individual molds. Chill until firm.
