Asparagus with Parmesan

1 bunch asparagus spears
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter
Clean the asparagus and blanch them in salted boiling water for 1 minute. Drain the asparagus and display it on a buttered casserole or other oven-safe baking dish. Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with grated parmigiano. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes. Serve hot.
