Freeze Lemon Zest?
I have a ton of recipes that call for lemon zest. I don't usually buy fresh lemons. Is it possible to freeze the lemon zest. I know you can the juice but didn't know about that.

Hi Tanya,
Yes. Whenever I use a fresh lemon, I grate off the zest first and freeze it in a ziploc bag. Then, I always have zest on hand. I do this for oranges and limes as well. Very convenient to just pull it from the freezer as needed.
