I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Guacamole Salad

Serves: 6


        

  Download this recipe.

2 6-ounce cans guacamole frozen, thawed
1 tomato large, chopped
2 tablespoons bacon bits
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
6 cups lettuce rinsed and drained on paper towels
2 cups tortilla chips


1. Spoon guacamole into mixing bowl. Add tomato, bacon bits and hot pepper sauce. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate. To serve, arrange lettuce leaves on serving platter. Spoon 6 equal amounts of guacamole onto lettuce leaves. Stick 6 tortilla chips into each serving.
