Cheddar Potato Strips

Serves 6

Ingredients:

5 large potatoes
1 cup half and half
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Scrub potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch strips. Arrange in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour half and half over potatoes Dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
