Banana Pudding

Ingredients:
8 ripe bananas
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
Directions:
This forms a kind of spread.
Peel bananas.
Bring sugar and water to a boil. Add bananas and let simmer over a very low heat until they are cooked and golden brown. If the sauce thickens before the bananas are done, add a little water and cook longer.
When the bananas are cooked, beat in a blender.
Serve in a compote dish with cream cheese or on bread.
