Favorite Fried Desserts for Summer
Question: What are the top three Fried-Desserts for summer?
Answer: Wow! This one was fun to research. This is what I found, anything you love can be dipped, fried and tastes ten times better! Once you have your favorite coating batter nailed down, dip on! Here are my results:
#1 - Deep Fried Cadburys Creme Eggs
If you try this, it will permanently become a new staple on Easter or any time. Unwrap, coat in flour, dip in your favorite batter, and fry. Then comes the hardest part, being able to resist eating all of the eggs at once. They're salty, and the chocolate is just warm enough to be soft, with an oozing, creamy filling poking its way out in between it all.
#2 - Deep Fried Oreos
They are delicious! You can use your favorite dry pancake mix or substitute Bisquick as the batter. They are best when eaten warm, of course!
#3 - Deep Fried Jelly Beans
Common at the Springfield, Massachusetts fair, plus many other fairs, the flavored beans are mixed in with funnel cake batter and deep fried. The big question is, can you guess the bean flavor once it is fried?
