ANSWER:

Apple subscribers can choose a different Apple subscription option if they would like to upgrade their Membership. However, if you upgrade through the membership web page(via dvo.com), you must unsubscribe from your Apple subscription.

To upgrade via Apple subscriptions, open your device's Settings>Your Name>Subscription>Choose 'Cook'n', and you can then upgrade!
