ANSWER:

I suggest that you check to make sure you gave Cook'n access to the Documents folder on your Mac. To check for that, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Privacy & Security in System Settings
  2. Click to Files and Folders and click Cook'n
  3. Make sure the "Documents Folder" is switched on
