Sprinkle trout with salt and pepper. Combine butter or margarine, garlic, shallot or onion and parsley and spread in cavity of each trout. Put fish in a shallow baking dish just large enough to hold them. Pour in wine cover fish with a buttered sheet of waxed paper. Bake in a preheated 400° oven for 20 minutes. Spoon pan juices over fish and garnish with parsley.
