In a small mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cream cheese, milk, vanilla and salt until smooth and fluffy.
At low speed, gradually add powdered sugar, scraping bowl. Increase speed to medium and beat until smooth and well blended. Use to glaze Favorite Carrot-Walnut Cake (see above) or cake of your choice. Refrigerate leftovers.
