Easy Golden Quiche

Ingredients

1 frozen pie crust unbaked 9-inch deep-dish
6 ounces Cheddar cheese shredded or Swiss cheese
1 3/4 cups ham cooked, diced (about 3/4 lb.)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning dried
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs large
1 cup milk or half-and-half

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°. With a fork, make several sets of holes in bottom and sides of pie shell. Bake 10 minutes set aside. Turn down oven temperature to 350°.

While pie shell is baking, mix cheese, ham, cornstarch, Italian seasoning, and salt in a large bowl toss until blended. Spoon evenly into baked pie shell. In a medium bowl with a fork, beat eggs and milk. Pour into pie shell.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown. Cool. Serve at room temperature within 2 hours.
