Individual Beef Turnovers

Ingredients

Lard Pastry Crust
2 cups beef minced cooked
Salt to taste
Paprika to taste
1 (.75-ounce) package brown gravy mix or 1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup or meat gravy
1/3 cup parsley minced fresh
1/3 cup celery minced
1/3 cup onion minced
1 clove garlic minced (optional)

Directions:

Heat oven to 400° F. Roll crust as thin as possible and cut with a 4- or 5-inch round cutter. Combine remaining ingredients divide mixture among one-half of the pastry rounds. Moisten edges of pastry rounds with water and top with remaining rounds press edges together with tines of a fork. Place on a lightly-greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden.
