1. Slice the bread in 1-inch slices, making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom to leave the slices attached.
2. Place the butter and garlic in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is well combined and fragrant.
3. Gently separate the slices of bread but be careful to keep them attached. Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of the garlic-butter mixture over each slice, making sure to include some bits of garlic on each slice. Spoon any remaining garlic butter over the top. Wrap the loaf in foil, sealing it tightly, and bake in a preheated 250°F oven for 15–20 minutes, or until warmed through. Serve hot.
