French Toast

Ingredients

1 cup liquid egg substitute
1/4 cup non fat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 slices 2 day old chala bread, stale
1 tablespoon polyunsaturated margarine

Directions:

Mix the egg substitute, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Soak the stale bread slices in the mixture, preferably overnight.

In a skillet, melt the margarine and sauté the soaked bread until the bottom is turning brown. Turn the bread over and continue to sauté until the new bottom is also brown.
