1. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into a large mug. Slice the second lemon very thinly. Poke the cloves into a lemon slice, and drop the slices into the mug. Add the honey. Fill the cup with the hot water and stir with the cinnamon stick until the honey has dissolved. Taste for sweetness and add more honey as you like.
NOTE: In a pinch, you can make this drink with bottled lemon juice. Use 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and increase the honey to 2 1/2 tablespoons, as bottled juice
is more bitter than fresh.
