Tomatoes, Mozzarella, and Basil

Ingredients

4 large ripe tomatoes
9 ounces mozzarella cheese (preferably buffalo milk)
basil
freshly ground black pepper
olive oil

Directions:

Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella, and arrange alternately on a serving dish, so that they overlap slightly. Arrange small fresh basil leaves on top and sprinkle with pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and serve.
