Maple-Glazed BBQ Meatballs

Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey breast
2 egg whites
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup fat-free (skim) milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup maple syrup

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 400°. Spray rectangular pan, 13 X 9 X 2 inches, with cooking spray. Mix turkey, egg whites, onion, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Arrange meatballs, sides not touching, in pan.
2. Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink. Heat barbecue sauce and syrup in 1-quart saucepan, stirring occasionally, until hot.
3. Place meatballs in chafing dish or serving dish. Pour sauce mixture over meatballs, or serve it on the side for dipping.
