Cast Iron Potato & Brisket Hash with Bell Peppers & Onions

This Cast Iron Potato & Brisket Hash is a melt-in-your mouth delicacy.

Dovetailing tip: Use the leftover Grilled Brisket from Meal 1. You will need about 1 pound of the cooked meat. Dice into ½” squares.

Ingredients:

1 pound smoked beef brisket, diced
2 large potatoes, diced.
1 medium onion, diced.
1 large green bell pepper, diced.
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon granulated garlic, or 2 cloves fresh, minced
dash cayenne pepper

Directions:

Prepare grill to medium-high heat of about 375°F.

Pour oil in 12” cast iron skillet and heat on grill.

Place potatoes, onions and peppers in skillet and sauté for approximately 10 minutes, until potatoes begin to soften slightly.

Add brisket to skillet, add salt and spices and continue to cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until potatoes and vegetables are tender, turning mixture frequently.
