When I try to open my Cook'n application, it says that my files are locked. What is going on?








QUESTION:

"When I try to open my Cook'n application, it says that my files are locked. What is going on?"



ANSWER:

When the Cook'n app launches, we do have logistics that checks to make sure the database files are not locked and can be opened. If not, this dialog will appear.

If you have restarted your computer and this message persists, it probably means your database files are corrupt. The easiest way to fix this is to restore from your Cloud account by opening cook'n and clicking File->Restore->From Cloud Account.
