FEATURED RECIPE: Chocolate Chip Banana Spice Bread

Ingredients

2 medium bananas mashed
1 banana or spice cake mix
1 small box instant banana cream pudding
3 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup applesauce
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips (plus for for sprinkling on top, optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F.

In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix together until smooth. Divide batter between two well greased bread pans. Sprinkle tops with chocolate chips if desired. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let bread cool completely before removing from pans, since it's so moist it will fall apart if taken out of the pans while still warm.
