Potatoes Gratinee


Serves: 4

Ingredients

3 large russet potatoes 1/8 inch slices
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
salt and white pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Lightly grease a 9-inch square ovenproof casserole with butter. Bake until potatoes are tender, cream is absorbed, and the top is golden brown, about 30–40 minutes.

NOTE: A mandoline is the easiest and quickest way to slice the potatoes.
