_Charcoal & Emergency Fire Starters

Serves: 5

Ingredients

1 cardboard egg carton
1 pound Paraffin
2 hand fulls of fuzz cleaned from a clothes dryer screen

Directions:

Melt the paraffin over low heat in an old soup can after you pinch the top together to make a pour spout.

While the paraffin is melting fill each indentation of the cardboard egg carton with fuzz cleaned from the dryer screen. Pour paraffin over the lint in each indentation, about half full. Let cool and then cut the carton into twelve individual fire starters. These are great for starting campfires and charcoal, especially in damp or cold situations.
