1. Wash mushrooms, remove stems and discard. Brush mushrooms with melted butter.
2. Fry onions in remaining butter until tender.
3. Mix onions and butter with pork rinds, sausage meat, herbs and seasonings. Stuff mushroom caps.
4. Place mushrooms in a shallow ovenproof dish, pour 4 tablespoons of water into the bottom of the dish, and bake for 15-20 minutes in a moderate oven.
