Un-popped popcorn can be stored at room temperature for about a year. However, for best results store it in an airtight container in your refrigerator or freezer. This helps the kernels retain their natural moisture which means they will produce larger popped kernels. If you find that you have popcorn that just isn't popping, chances are it has dried out. Keeping it in the refrigerator really will make a difference.
