Celebrating Womanhood
By Jeanne Wolfley
Mother's Day-that holiday that focuses specifically on the specialness of womanhood. And we all have special women in our life, so let's raise a glass to honor womanhood with some elegant, fruity, and non-alcoholic drinks. Consider this: who wouldn't feel cherished when being honored with a swanky drink and loving words?
My son-in-law does this every Mother's Day. He and their two sons raise their glasses and express feelings of love and appreciation for Jill and their three daughters. This is the girls time to experience special treatment!
If you like this idea, then here are some recipes for raising a glass to the wonderful women in your life. These drinks can be enjoyed by the whole family and are great for any celebration or party, but they are especially appropriate for Mother's Day.
