ANSWER:

Since you are a NON-SUBSCRIBER, you will see ads when doing certain things in Cook'n such as Capturing more than 2 recipes per day and trying to Sync to the Cook'n Cloud. You will also see an ad every time you create a new recipe and you will see one every 5th recipe viewed.

If you sign up for a Membership Plan the ads will go away!

Hi Chris,

I'm happy to hear that you have enjoyed using Cook'n after all these years. Perhaps you should consider showing your appreciation to the Cook'n programmers who work so tirelessly to make Cook'n better and better. They work daily to add new features and make sure that Cook'n works well every time Apple or Google or Microsoft makes a change to your operating system that causes the app to not function properly, etc.

The Cook'n programmers and tech support agents work hard and expect to get a paycheck each week. We don't get tax money or donations to pay our bills and there are no 3rd party ads in Cook'n. We would like to offer these services to all of our customers for free...but if we did that, who would pay the bills?

You asked "please give me back my ability to not listen to your ad is all I ask." You got it. Click here to sign up for a membership plan and you won't see those ads anymore. A Basic Annual Membership only costs $4 per month. You'll pay more than that for a bottle of water at the airport!
