I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Cook'n with [your name here]?

Kathy has an idea. She presented it in our last company strategy meeting with much enthusiasm but few of us got as excited as she did. She wanted me to make her idea the subject of this week's poll question to see what Cook'n Club Members think of it.

Her idea is to offer our customers the opportunity to create their own custom version of Cook'n to give away to family and friends, co-workers, employees, partners, church groups, school groups, etc.

Our customers would pay us a certain amount of money based on the number of copies they wanted. Then, they would send us their .dvo file and specify the family name (ie, Cook'n with Kitty and the Gang). We would then create the custom version of Cook'n for them, manufacture, and ship it.

We like the idea...it's just the execution that we're concerned about. Business is going incredibly well...that's why my beleagured, already over-worked staff let out a collective groan at the thought of trying to fill these custom orders. We're not sure if we can make the numbers work.

But, the idea of compiling your family recipes or the recipes from your church group and creating a custom version of Cook'n is pretty neat. This may be the perfect fit for many business owners, school groups, church groups, and large families. What do you think?
