Cutting Sugar
You left out my favorite, cutting sugar called for in recipes.
In many recipes, you can cut the sugar by 1/4 c. and no one notices. For extra sweet recipes, I sometimes cut out 1/3 to 1/2 c. sugar. That is noticeble, but actually improves some recipes (unless you have a really sweet tooth).

I think that is one tip I'll be using today. I also try to cut down on salt in recipes.
