Angel Food Cake Cookies
Notes from Folks...
I loved this easy, easy, easy, Angel Food Cake Cookie recipe. However, I just wanted to let you know I recommend the following improvements:
Use CLEAR vanilla and got a much better result. McCormick brand makes an imitation clear vanilla which is very good.
Pipe the cookie dough. It's too sticky to spoon it; and it looks way better piped.
Also, I used a half sheet tray which you can find at any restaurant supply business. This tray is great for biscuits and for this particular recipe where you're trying to be very careful not to brown your cookie. The half sheet tray works GREAT for this purpose.
I am using this recipe for my religious education class. They're gonna just love the fact that it's made from angel food cake!
To finish the cookie off, I will put a touch of whip cream on each cookie and a couple sliced strawberries; the kids are gonna love this.
I have to admit, I don't think I've ever made a cookie with such an easy recipe; I'm so glad I found this one.
