1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (18 1/4-ounce) box yellow cake mix, divided
1 (15 1/2-ounce) can pitted sweet cherries, drained
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 cup butter, melted
Pour pineapple into an ungreased 13" x 9" baking pan; spread evenly. Sprinkle half the cake mix on top; spread cherries over cake mix. Sprinkle on remaining cake mix; add nuts. Drizzle with butter; bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
