Almond Rice Pilaf
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 cup brown rice2 tablespoons butter
2 cups water
1 teaspoon beef bouillon
1/8 teaspoon onion salt
1 tablespoon , chopped green onion
1 carrot, grated
1 cup slivered almonds
Melt butter in skillet, add rice and cook until brown, stirring constantly. Add water and bouillon. Stir. Add onions, carrots, almonds and onion salt. Cover and simmer for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
