This week, Kathy made a HUGE pot of chili and baked 65 potatoes in order to feed all of our family & friends who came to see Andan (the baby!!!) open his mission call. Andan was called to serve a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Andan's brother, Carson, is currently serving a two-year mission in Guatemala. The two brothers will not see each other for almost four years! :( Oh gosh...I don't know if I can take it! Those two are so close!

This is such a great sacrifice for both of them. I'm so proud of both of them. I'm proud of my oldest son, Danny, who served for two years in Boston, his sister, Brennah, who served in Tokyo, Japan, and their other brother, Jackson, who served in Oklahoma.

Five kids...and five missionaries! This is quite an achievement for Kathy for raising these amazing kids in a righteous, God-fearing and God-loving home. Way to go, Kathy!! (just look at the smile on her face with this boy!)




Andan will leave to serve his mission in Querétaro, Mexico on March 11. Way to go, Andan!!!

In the meantime, he's gonna have to wait to catch more of these...



And, he's gonna have to wait a couple years to throw more of these...





And, these... Man! I'm gonna miss this kid!




His football hopes & dreams are gonna have to wait for two years.




I guess the BYU football team is just gonna have to wait too! May God bless you, Andan!!
